Do you Travel?
Absolutely! If your location is outside of the GTA but you’re interested in working together, please reach out for a quote on traveling fees. (I’m also open to providing discounts on places that are on my bucket list to travel to!)
How long have you been doing this?
I picked up my first camera in 2010. Since then I’ve done all kinds of photography including studio portraits, nightclub photography, and landscapes. I shot my first wedding back in 2017 and fell IN LOVE. I haven’t looked back since.
How do we get our photos?
Once your photos are edited, they will be sent to you via an online gallery. You’re able to download high-res copies of your photos and also order prints through the gallery as well. You’re even able to share them with friends and family with a link to your gallery.
Do you retouch photos?
My rule for retouching is that if it’s something that isn’t normally there, like a blemish or a stray hair, I edit it out. I want these photos to be as authentic as possible so I don’t do any major cosmetic retouching.
Whats your turn around time?
Once the photoshoot is done, it’s typically a 4-6 week turnaround time for you to receive your edited photos in your online gallery. I always try to get some done to send you a sneak peak while you’re waiting.
How do we book you?
You can fill out the form via my contact page with all your info including the date you’re wanting to book. I’ll reply to you within a day or two to get in touch and go over what you’re looking for and if we’re a good fit!
Can you help us with planning?
Of course! I want this day to be a success just as much as you do. I’m always open to providing suggestions and helping you gather everything you need for a beautiful photoshoot.
How far out do you book?
I typically book a year to a year and a half out. You can always reach out to me with your date for a consultation.
What should we wear?
First thing is to wear something you’re comfortable in but have some fun with it. It’s an occasion to get a little dressy. Be mindful of clashing colours depending on where the photoshoot is taking place. (Wear nice shoes!) You’re always more than welcome to text me outfit ideas before the shoot.
I’m nervous and I’ve never posed for photos, what do I need to know?
All you need to worry about is to just have fun and enjoy the moment! I always come prepared with pose ideas and prompts, and can even show you photos of what I’m trying to capture.
What is your payment situation like? Cancellation? Deposit?
In order to secure your date, a 50% non-refundable deposit and a signed contract is required with the remaining balance due 30 days prior to your photoshoot. I also understand that things happen and can work with you to reschedule if need be!
For weddings and elopements, will we go over a shot list ahead of time?
Of course! This is a stage of planning I love going over together. I think it’s important to sort out what type of shots you’re looking for so we can scout out locations. It’s also so important to list out what family and friends you want photos of with their names so you’re not running around trying to get everyone together and so no one gets left out!
Do you have a list of recommended shots for my elopement/wedding?
I typically like to break this down into sections depending on what your day looks like. This is something we can go over together when planning out your day.
Can you make me look good?
I think everyone tends to feel a little self conscious in front of the camera. You’re definitely not alone in this. My goal is to make you feel relaxed and open to having fun without worrying about what you look like. I always try to capture your most authentic beautiful self, and mindfully capture them in a flattering way.
